Scotty’s Diner in Aberdeen, which underwent a brief closure last month for re-branding, has now announced that it will be closing permanently. The decision was made due to the fact that the business was not financially sustainable.
In an update shared on social media, the owners of Scotty’s Diner informed customers that the Aberdeen Catering Company would be taking over the restaurant’s Main Street location to expand its operations. This marks the end of an era for the restaurant, which has been a part of the Aberdeen community since the 1960s.
Over the years, Scotty’s Diner has undergone multiple changes in ownership and transformations, but unfortunately, it has reached the end of its journey. The full statement from the owners can be found below. Dakota News Now retains all rights to this content.
