USA kicks off T-20 World Cup with a convincing seven-wicket victory against Canada

In the T20 World Cup debut match in Dallas, Canada posted a competitive total of 194 for five after batting first. The USA team, who co-hosted the tournament with the West Indies, made light work of the chase thanks to Andries G’ous’ 65 and Aaron Jones’ impressive 40-ball innings.

Canada started off strongly with Navneet Dhaliwal scoring 61 and Aaron Johnson adding 23 runs to give them a solid start in the powerplay.
