A Promising Commitment for Houston: Jacob Bradford, a Defensive Back Extraordinaire

Highly skilled cornerback Jacob Bradford chooses to play for Houston

Jacob Bradford, a highly-touted defensive back from Baton Rouge’s Catholic High, has announced his commitment to Houston. After visiting Houston, Texas Tech, and Oregon, Bradford was impressed by the Cougars and their head coach Willie Fritz. Fritz built a successful program at Tulane before moving to Houston and has been able to recruit top talent from Louisiana.

Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 190 pounds, Bradford is a high three-star cornerback who ran a 4.4 40-yard dash. He played a key role in helping Catholic High win a state championship last season, and other schools also pursued him. However, it was the opportunities that Houston presented that ultimately convinced him to commit.

With several talented recruits from Louisiana already committed, Fritz’s team is shaping up to be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming season. “It’s about to get real serious in Houston,” Bradford said confidently. With his commitment secured, Bradford is ready to bring his skills and determination to the Cougars and help the team achieve success on the field.
