In Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Railways successfully completed a trial run on the world’s highest railway bridge. This newly-built Chenab railway bridge is located between Sangaldan in Ramban district and Reasi. The officials have stated that rail services on this line will commence soon.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw shared a video of the trial run on social media, highlighting the successful test run of a MEMU train on the Sangaldan – Reasi section of the USBRL project.
