A Mystery Enigma: Unraveling the Story Behind New York’s Failed Dinosaur Museum

The Epic Battle: Science vs The Great Dinosaur Smashup

In 1871, a group of criminals arrived at the scene of an ambitious plan to create a dinosaur museum in New York City. They wielded sledgehammers and proceeded to destroy every piece of the incredible dinosaur models that were meant to be the centerpiece of the museum. Despite efforts to find answers, the fate of these models remains a mystery. Researchers Vicky Coules and Carl Mehling are now delving into the history surrounding this failed museum, shedding light on various aspects such as the knowledge of dinosaurs in the 1800s, the existence of famous Crystal Palace dinosaurs, and the conception of the Paleozoic Museum. However, one final question lingers – where are the pieces of the destroyed dinosaur models?
