A Few Bolt Men: Raleigh Middle Schoolers Compete in Vex Robotics World Championship

Vex Robotics World Championship: Carnage Magnet Middle School in Raleigh sends 4 students to Texas for global competition

In February, four Raleigh middle school students from Carnage Magnet Middle School earned a spot in the Vex Robotics World Championship by winning the state robotics championship. Now, on Tuesday afternoon, the boys will arrive in Dallas, Texas to compete against young engineers from 50 different countries at the largest robotics competition in the world.

The team, made up of Vedhanth, Dhruva, Lashwin, and Sathvik, has named themselves ‘A Few Bolt Men’ and are excited to showcase their hard work and skills on an international stage. The competition includes challenges such as teamwork, robot skills, and a STEM research project.

As they represent Raleigh and compete against the best young talent from around the world at the Vex Robotics World Championship, we wish ‘A Few Bolt Men’ the best of luck. The boys have demonstrated their creativity and problem-solving abilities in robotics and we are sure they will do great things on this grand stage.
