Jauan Jennings Inks Two-Year Contract with 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers have announced that they have reached a two-year contract agreement with wide receiver Jauan Jennings instead of Brandon Aiyuk. The team made the announcement on Wednesday, revealing that the deal could be worth up to $15.4 million with $10.5 million guaranteed.

Jennings, who had initially been tendered at the second-round level and would have received a salary of $4.89 million if he had signed it, opted for a two-year deal that will keep him with the 49ers through 2025. Originally drafted by the 49ers in the seventh round in 2020, Jennings did not initially make the team’s 53-man roster. However, he spent the 2020 season on the practice squad before appearing in 16 games in 2021, 16 games in 2022, and 13 games in 2023.
