Downtown Reading and Mid-Atlantic Air Museum Partner for 30th Annual World War II Mid-Day Parade

The City of Reading and the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum are thrilled to announce the 30th annual World War II Mid-Day Parade. This year’s parade promises to be a nostalgic journey back in time, featuring authentic World War II vehicles, troops dressed in period uniforms, and live music by the Snack Club Quartet. The event serves as the official kickoff for the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum’s 33rd Annual World War II Weekend, which will take place at the Reading Regional Airport from June 7 through June 9.

The highlight of the parade includes a procession of authentic WWII vehicles and re-enactors, a live performance by the Snack Club Quartet, and remarks from local officials and Mid-Atlantic Air Museum leadership. Food vendors will also be on-site, along with outdoor seating for attendees to enjoy the festivities.

Join us on Penn Street for an afternoon filled with fun and entertainment. Grab a bite to eat from local businesses and interact with reenactors and a diverse array of World War II vehicles. The Mid-Day Parade will lead into a weekend packed with activities at the Reading Regional Airport, including air shows, vehicle displays, vendors, and more live music.
