2024 Arizona Sports Hall of Fame Welcomes Record-Breaking Athletes and Dedicated Coach

2024 Arizona Wildcats Sports Hall of Fame class features Andre Iguodala and Jason Terry as headliners

The 2024 Arizona Sports Hall of Fame is set to induct seven individuals, including former men’s basketball All-Americans Andre Iguodala and Jason Terry. The ceremony will take place on August 30th, where the class will be honored.

Other inductees include softball player Kenzie Fowler, baseball player Bob Ralston, and track and field athletes Lawi Lalang, Julie LaBonte, and Nick Ross. Together, the 2024 class has accumulated over 20 All-America selections and double-digit All-Conference nods.

Dr. Donald Porter, who served as Arizona’s head team physician from 1989-2022, will also be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Iguodala was an AP All-American during the 2003-04 season and had a successful 19-year NBA career, winning four championships with the Golden State Warriors. Terry played for four seasons at UA from 1995-99 and had his jersey retired.

Fowler was a standout in softball, earning two NFCA All-American titles and two All-Pac-10 selections. Ralston played baseball at Arizona from 1982-84 and was a First Team All-American in 1984 before winning two team batting championships. Lalang won eight NCAA national championships in long distance running from 2010 to 2014 and received two Division I Indoor National Men’s Track Athlete of the Year awards.
